Itinerary and Highlights

  • Day 1 Arrive Guatemala and transfer to Lake Atitlan.
  • Day 2 Tour the Mayan towns surrounding the lake, plus visit a coffee plantation and experience the thrill of zip lining.
  • Day 3 Discover Antigua, Guatemala’s old capital.
  • Day 4 Fly to Flores. Full day tour on foot of the magnificent Mayan ruins at Tikal.
  • Day 5 Fly Flores to San Salvador and transfer to the colonial town of Suchitoto.
  • Day 6 Full day tour by road and boat crossing the Gulf of Fonseca to Nicaragua then by road to the colonial town of Leon.
  • Day 7 Morning tour of Leon then depart for Granada.
  • Day 8 Excursion on Nicaragua’s inland sea to see the spectacular island volcano of Ometepe.
  • Day 9 Transfer to Managua Airport.
