The full exploration is 25 days made up of three modules that will immerse you in India’s customs, way of life, rare and unique attractions.

Itinerary and Highlights

  • Day 1 Arrive Delhi and transfer to your hotel.
  • Day 2 Sightseeing full day tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi including the Red Fort.
  • Day 3 Fly Delhi – Varanasi. Varanasi is one of the oldest living cities in the world situated on the banks of the sacred Ganges and the most important pilgrimage site in India. In the evening attend a local ceremony then visit markets and shops.
  • Day 4 Morning visit to Sarnath where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Return to Varanasi.
  • Day 5 Varanasi - Khajuraho. Morning free. Midday flight to Khajuraho, a once small unknown village that has now become a UNESCO World Heritage site for its magnificent Jain and Hindu temples. Built in the 9th and 10th centuries, they feature more than 800 sculptures depicting deities, mythical beasts, battle scenes and most famously couples engaged in erotic acts.
  • Day 6 to 11 - Drive to Bandhavgarh National Park to spend your days enjoying game viewing activities on foot, by 4WD and on elephant back accompanied by local expert guides. Leave the hills of Bandhavgarh NP for the grassy plains of Kanha National Park. Some of the species that inhabit these parks are the tiger, Chansingha (four horned antelope), Swamp Deer, Black Buck, Indian Bison, Barking Deer, Sambhar and Leopard. There are also 150 species of birds. Stay in comfortable intimate wilderness lodges with an Indian theme.
  • Day 7 as above

  • Day 12 Stay at the beautiful Kawrdha Palace enjoying the hospitality of the resident royal family. Trek in the forests, meet the local tribes people, visit temples and assimilate the beauty and character of the palace.

  • Day 14 Transfer to Raipur. Return to Delhi or Mumbai (internal flights excluded).
  • Day 15 to 24 Leave the wilderness and fly to the gateway of India - Mumbai. Visit extensive and beautiful palace complexes such as City Palace in Udaipur, Lake Palace and the unique and incomparable Taj Mahal. In addition, there are trekking activities, 4WD and village visits into the less travelled parts of these regions.
